Uniting Sports Business Clubs

The University Sports Business Alliance

Sport business clubs across Canada allow driven students the opportunity to develop valuable skills and gain experiences needed to succeed in their careers. By connecting university sport business clubs through the University Sports Business Alliance (USBA), we are able to share ideas, cross-promote club events, and support each other in a variety of ways.
In February of 2020 (during the first summer of COVID), select members of Brock University’s and McMaster University’s Sport & Business Associations met to discuss the alignment of Canadian sports business clubs. This was done with the purpose of connecting, supporting and growing student led clubs dedicated to the sport industry. The USBA began with nine clubs in September of 2020 and added four more clubs over the following six months. Today the USBA is led by current members of University Sport Business Associations across Canada.
